leave the motor plugged in and try and adjust the temp on the drivers side and see if the motor moves, you may have to hold the motor in one hand and the shaft of the motor in the other, sometimes with no resistance the shaft will move, so try and hold it tight to give it some resistance. sounds like you have a bad motor.
