Clutch on my 99 is fine. But I have periodically been unable to remove it from reverse after starting. Of course, this has never duplicated for the dealer. Anyone else see a problem like this?
BTW, this car replaced a 1982 Volvo Dl wagon that I picked up in 1989 wth 94 K on it. It had previously been used to haul a boat, wore out the engine, but not the clutch. Clutch was still fine at 160K. There is no reason modern clutches should not last "forever", unless this is the clutch that you learn to shift on.
