setting up Bluetooth with hand-free connector

Hi all -
Just a quick question. I assumed that my SAAB was setup for hands free phone since it has On-Star installed. So I bought a Motorola IHF1000 hands free Bluetooth kit and the SAAB hand free adapter plug, and intended to use the built-in SAAB features (stereo system for audio, built-in mic, etc.). I soldered the Motorola connections to the SAAB adapter plug, then proceeded to tear my dash apart. Unfortunately, once in there, I could not find the loose hands free plug that was supposed to e hanging free back there behind the radio. The only thing I can think about is that with On-Star wired in there from the factory, they used whatever hands free connections were in the car. If so, does that mean I have to splice into the On-Star harness? Anyone have a wiring diagram for this? I seem to recall that the On-Star harness only has the following connections:
12v
ground
microphone input
line out
phone mute
But my Motorola has the following connections required:
constant 12V
ignition 12V
ground
audio + (could this be the microphone input?)
audio - (could this be the line out connection?)
phone mute
Hmmm, not sure where I stand with this project right now...
TIA,
Derek
