I have recently seen a number of ads for model year 2000 9-5s in the
$27-29K price range. I have a feeling that the sellers are basing these prices on either the MSRP or dealer invoice prices, and not recognizing the size of the incentives now in effect on the model year 2001 cars. I would have to agree that with a new 2001 car selling for $29K, one would expect that the discount for a year 2000 car to be greater than $2k. Also while color is a matter of tase, keeping a white car clean (particularly if is not garaged) is a bit of a task compared to other colors.
