I have a warranty from a company called C.A.R.S. They are covering the repair of a lower control arm and re-sealing the timing cover. Ths is about a $2800 job which is exactly what I paid for the warranty. However, there was a discrepency between the labor hours of the dealer and the labor hours of Saab, to the tune of 9 hours at about $100 an hour. It was suggested that I might need to pay that. No way. I called CARS and they were cool about it and the dealer and CARS agreed to some arrangement. Bottom line: for the kind of money I paid for that warranty I don't excpect to pay anything but the deductible. That was how it was presented to me and that's how I expect it to work. Otherwise my car has been inoperable for 10 days now and may not be completed until next week. The warranty companies don't always "hustle" like you would like them to. They covered 6 days of car rental for me. If there are any issues when I "settle out" when my car is finaly done, I woll post. But I don't expect there to be any.
