Bumper scr4atch -- touch up paint?

I just noticed a 1 inch by 1/4 inch 'scratch' on the part of my back bumper just below the black rubber strip (on the part that is also rubber but painted the same color as the body). Looks ugly, the black rubber underneath really makes it look obvious, and seems the patch will only get bigger once nature gets to it. Is this the same paint that is on the body? Although it's the same color, it just doesn't seem that the same paint they're using on steel would also cover rubber. Fortunately, there doesn't appear to be any other damage -- looks almost like one of those games you scratch off using a quarter. The paint around it has that same look as the silver stuff after you've scratched it off.
Would it be better to let the dealer handle this (hopefully as a courtesy) at my next oil change (due any tme now) or should I just get a bottle of touch up and go Picasso on it myself? It's an '01, steel grey, btw. Thanks.
