I for one regret up sizing to Ronals LZ wheel/225-45/17.
1.To much extra weight-takes away from ride quality-feel every imperfection on the road.
2.The Lz wheel can only use stick on weights to balance wheel.I have had to have in shop twice in 6 months for rebalancing after loosing weigts.Gets expensive.
3.I find myself changing back to oem tire/wheels when going on any longer trip for the comfort.Yes less cornering w/oem's but car feels faster.
I feel going back to 16" x 6.5" or 7" with 225/50/16's would be the better all round package for me.Plus my wife refused to drive the car with the 17" tires on.(If your married this could be the deciding factor)
In layman terms the 17" wheels look great but if you already enjoy your Saab's ride stay with 16" wheels.Anyone looking for set of Ronal LZ's ??
