Rear Wiper-washer

Question for other wagon owners---I noticed the other day that the rear window washer is not working. I can hear the motor running, but the fluid doesnt come out. I looked at it and it appears that the fluid squirts out of the center wiper shaft and then into the base cover which is supposed to spray out onto the window? Is there a quick fix for this. I could have the dealer take care of it at the 30K but I would like to get it working now that winter is (supposed to be) arriving. Thanks for any suggestions.
'00 Gary Fisher. Damn, I love this car. :)
