...with a 9-5 aero wagon loaner we had (kept one overnight when deciding between a sedan or wagon). We (my father and I) were at a light and i went to wash to wash the rear window, and instead, it shot fluid straight out (the outlet where the hose connected is on the motor where the wiper arm connects to the base) and soaked the camaro behind us, luckily he wasn't too mad since it had rained and pretty much every car on the road wasn't clean. But i just replaced the missing hose and everything was fine, i'm not sure if your problem is similar, but i hope this helps somehow.
