yeah, same thing happened with my 2k2 Aero... I replaced the sensor myself (~$25 from dealer) and the problem went away, for awhile. Came back once, went away... so I replaced the thermostat (~$15 from Autozone) and no problems at all since. Neither one was a very hard job to do, I was quoted about $150 from an independent, but I did it myself and was surprised at how easy it was.

check the board for more info on how to do it and what you need to take care of it all. and btw, doing both at the same time would make it easier!
