hi all, a new to me 2000 9-5 SE wagon with 75k miles. during the first week that i had the car, i filled it with low octane gas and twice the car puffed blue smoke on cold startup. i don't know if the gas caused the smoke.
the next week i had the car inspected and they found oil in the intercooler and cleaned it. it's been a week now and i haven't seen any smoke.
my dilemma is whether or not i should replace the turbo prior to a long road trip i have planned with my 3 year-old daughter. the car checked out clean in all other aspects.
just wondering if i'm safe with the old turbo now with a clean intercooler and no smoke for a week.
thanks in advance for any responses.
