Is 2000 Aero engine different than 2001?

The performance numbers that I've seen for the 2000 and 2001 Aero engines were identical, however I stumbled across this article which implies that the 2001 has different torque output:
http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/models/2002/pr6.html
This article is discussing the 2002 models, so I presume that "last year" means MY2001. Here is the relevant quote:
------------
"Following the torque upgrades we introduced on the Aero engine last year, it now seemed exactly the right moment for the power upgrade."
------------
Did the Aero torque output change between 2000 and 2001? If yes, then what was changed? I would appreciate any info on this. Thanks!
