I was traveling on vacation last week from the S.F. Bay area to L.A. when I burned out a xenon headlight on my 2002 Aero. You know what a bummer car problems can be on the road, even small ones, and I had a lot of miles left to travel. Being a faithful reader of this site, I called Swedecar early Monday morning from my downtown hotel. Even though he was quite busy, Anders agreed to take a look. He not only changed the bulb, he hooked up the Tech II unasked and took the car around the block for a quick, basic check. And then at my request, he also changed the alarm settings. And the best part was that while all this was going on he found the patience to happily answer about 20 of my stupid questions. Total bill - $145.

When I got back home I decided to change the other side bulb as well. Cost of the bulb alone from eEuroparts.com - $140 (OEM price well over $200)!! If you live in L.A. and have not dropped by Swedecar, you really are missing out on one fine mechanic and one honest business. I had to share this.
