*Stiffer, more refined suspension.
*20 more horsepower.
*New Sport seating.
*Stability Control.
*5-speed Auto Trans (Wow!).
*New exterior styling (including the great new OEM wheels).
*Bi-Xenon Headlamp option
*Brushed Aluminum Dash.
*Cleaned-up engine compartment.
*Sits noticably lower than the '01 models.
*Virtually no body roll while cornering.
*No 'nose-dive' under hard braking.
*The close ratio gearbox always keeps you in the maximum boost range.
*Overall, much more sport oriented. It is definitely not your grandmother's car.
I think that Saab has done an excellent job in '02 of making distinguishable differences between the 9-5 model lines. The Aero has less compromise, and is more of a real sport's sedan. The Arc is noticably more elegant, and set apart. The Linear? Still the best and most well equipped vehicle available for the money, period.
Cheers,
Brian.
