I did a full 3" down pipe, race cat and cat back, so went with the full system from gen saab, but took it to a meinike(sp?) to get it installed they told me they could have done everything except the down pipe (would have ended up costing me just as much as I had paid for what I did) because of the extream bends, but a cat back was cheap. don't remember what it would have cost but it was like 150 or so, it is mostly straight pipe with just a few simple bends. one thing is that the stock saab system has 2 mufflers, while if you go after market, they'll put on just one, so less money. and yes, they can use your old tips, no problem. they told me that most generic sytems would fit easily into the space provided. the saab system took up a lot of room (to make it extra quiet I would guess) and so there i a lot of extra room for different systems, and they can do it quick too, maybe an hour and a half, I would call a head and ask over the phone before I took it in though.

I would agree with Les, pull of the exess and save your money for a real system, I don't know what is out there for the v6, but I think most of the systems you can buy will fit it, I love my JT 3", it is subtle for the most part, you can hear it, but not too bad with the windows rolled up, until I mash the gas, then you know there is a beast under there.
