Just wrote a long response but lost it bkz I forgot to hit the "day of the week" box...grrr.
Thank you very much for your response...I REALLY appreciate your help!
What reason would Swedish Conn. give for getting so upset if you supplied your own parts...I don't suppose they ever actually said they were losing money did they? :-)
I can certainly appreciate what you are saying about attitude! The last dealer I worked with would screw-up in the most obvious manner (reassemble things incorrectly, chip off paint or just plain NOT FIX the problemes that brought me to them). Then, when in a very polite manner these problems were brought to their attention they would admit the problem, but would then act very pained when rescheduling to bring it back in to be corrected -- like I was making their life tough, (afterall, clearly I had nothing better to do than take a 2nd day off from work to correct what should have been done right the first time. Not a rant...just letting off a little steam).
As I say, I really appreciate your point on attitude. If I could ask you though, would you know, do both shops have the latest equipment (like the Tech-II, etc)?
Who do you feel is the better trained Saab mechanic?
Do you feel one is better equipped or better trained to handle performance modifications (exhaust, suspension, remapping the ecu, etc)?
Again, thank you very much!!
(now lets see...oh yes, "Friday"...fingers crossed). :-)
