I really liked ultimate precision and I had a lot of work there but there were two incidents which made me look elsewhere:
1- One of the guys ripped my front spoiler, pulled the bottom so that the screw eye tore and deformed, while driving my car off the lift. Yes I know they're low, but it's a Saab specific shop, that's like five years of the same body style....I was standing right there he heard the loud snap and looked at me....and I looked at him ..... and then he looked away and that was that....
2- I came in one day with my own parts and wanted the front rotors swapped and rear rotors turned. He put two technicians on the job one at each front wheel and he himself set the turning machine and then walked away... I got charged for an hour for each mechanic (1 X 2 = 2 hours) and I also got charged the actual time to cut the rotors which was like another hour at twenty minutes per rotor...
So the bill was something like 3 X 75 = $225 for labor + tax....I left the shop no more than 45 minutes later..having been billed for three hours labor..... I thought charging me $75 to cut rotors was a bit excessive as I could have bought them new...
