The pic shows how I set it up. IIRC correctly, my Basslink came with two identical connectors: 1 for the fronts, 1 for the rears. Each one had wires for L/R, -/+ and terminated in the square plug that goes into the sub itself. I disregarded the front entirely, and that plug is left open. So yes, two wires, + and - into the left rear speaker, and two wires into the right rear speaker. Front speakers/wires/connector disregarded entirely.
I would also recommend not using a wire that is hot at key on. That will turn your sub on when your key is turned, and it will remain on even if the HU isn't on. This isn't great for your battery or the sub, and you'll get an annoying thump when you switch the key on.
