It was called the Triad, manufactured by UHLtronics.

From the web page it looks like the company is struggling or failing. I suggest that before anyone orders a unit, that they read the "latest news" section of the site (click on the link at the bottom of the page.)

Apparently, the Triad doesn't work with the "newer" Saabs -- I think they mean those with fiberoptics, but they are not clear. In 2003, they posted a news item stating that they had trouble getting components for the units. in 2004 they said that they were redesigning after some testing revealed some problems, and 2007 they said that they are still trying to find a design solution.

Perhaps some of their older models still work with older Saabs. I'd get an explicit assurance from them before I ordered.
