Aaron: Sorry to say that probably the most frequent post that you are likely to see about your V-6 will come from those who describe themselves as "True Saabers",who will assail your engine as not being a true Saab engine. While there are many design differences between the four and the V-6,be assured that the engine as delivered in your car is an excellent performer, and is a terrific match for the excellent automatic transmission. Probably as many people will bitch at the fact that you can't get a stick shift with the V-6, and will also complain that it has timing belts instead of chains, etc etc. All of this is true. Fact is,the engine, as actually installed in this car, runs quite well. the intake noise on hard acceleration is a bit too much for my tastes, but so is the four's. If you are not planning on hot rodding the car, you can also ignore the comments that there are no hot rodding kits available for this car. It dosen't matter if you did not plan on souping it up anyway.
Enjoy your car.
