Wife's car ...(more)

Well aware of the Saab 4-cyl legacy. I have two good friends that are saab enthousiasts (one races his SPG frequently). My perspective is this: It is my wife's car and she is coming from a 4dr Acura Integra GSR. Her integra was a NOISY high revving death trap. She was beginning to not drive on the freeway (seattle area) due to its size/lack of safety devices as compared to the multitudes of SUVs. I wanted her in something with more HP, torque, safety items, space, and luxury than the GSR. We could not afford the Aero and I have read all of the "smoking" horror stories about the LPT 2.3. So the V6t fit quite nicely in the middle. We do not plan on doing anything mechanically to improve the performance of the vehicle (have the M3 for that).
I just wanted to make sure there weren't any outstanding things I missed when researching the car (recalls, mechanical issues, etc). Also not sure what, if any, were the options for the SE V6t. Anybody know?
