At that mileage, I would do the struts and swaybar links. I bet you'll find a huge improvement with those alone. If the car still feels soft, you can bring it for the bushings.
You can also DIY the bushings without a press if you buy Powerflex bushings. They come in two halves and you can manually insert them.
I just did the front and rear suspension on my car and it's a DIY job... depending on experience of course.
My guess is if you can change brakes, you're a definite runner up for suspension.
The only specialty tool you really must have is a set of spring compressors, I bought mine for $30 at AutoZone.
