Three years is about the maximum battery life on a 9-5 Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Wed, 26 Nov 2008 06:53:47 In Reply to: starting issues/minimum starting amps?, jim, Tue, 25 Nov 2008 19:38:49 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I just replaced my battery this week because it was slow cranking on cold mornings. The hand-held device used to test the battery while in the car identified it as bad, the more indepth bench test was less conclusive, but the battery was weak enough that I got a warranty replacement anyway. I guess they could tell it was only a matter of a very short time before it would fail. Eminent failure rather than exisitng death.
