Pulled over for speeding this afternoon on PCH in Malibu. I probably was speeding, as I was paying more attention to turning on the seat warmer than the speedometer. At any rate, the officer was cool and cut me a break, giving just a warning.
However, he gave me a fix-it ticket for window tint on the fronts. Only problem is, I don't have window tint on the fronts. 15% on the rear, but front is factory. I tried to explain, but he insisted, and pushing it probably would have got me the speeding ticket. As far as I can tell, I'm in compliance, unless Saab's heat absorbing glass is a problem? So what do I do to prove it?
Back of the ticket says a "law enforcement officer or an authorized inspection/installation station agent" can sign off that I've corrected the violation. Anybody have experience or know if a dealer can do this?
Cheers,
'Roo
