I won't consider an Aero here in urban Northern Calif, where our freeways are an absolute mess. Giant potholes where chunks are missing, concrete freeways that have seams every 20 yards are so, etc. Under these conditions my LPT is the most comfortable - on 16" Michelin Primacy MXV4's, and the Arc riding on factory 16" P6 is acceptable (but noisy).
In my opinion, the SAAB suspension is a rather unsophisticated design - ie. they sacrifice ride compliance for handling. It's one of the few quibbles I have with the car. You can tune some of it out with tires but they need to match the suspension to some extent. The Germans seem to do this a lot better, managing to achieve a better compromise of ride, handling and bump absorbtion.
