I guess it depends on which year you have.
my 2003 Aero went into LHM about a year ago, never really figured out why by the way. It went into LHM shortly after I got a tank of gas, I drove it for a few days (and reset everything) and when I refilled with gas never went back. [but about 2-months later the CPS went so that may have been related]
When it went in, the throttle control went from drive by wire to cable. If you were paying attention when it happens, you'll hear a few clicks of relays under the dash and then the throttle will feel different since you're no longer pushing against a sensor on the pedal but pulling a cable to control the throttle.
There is a procedure here somewhere to unlock the throttle body after it goes into LHM, pretty simple when you figure it out. (and of course you have to reset the ECU)
