Anyone heard of this outfit in Canton, Ohio? Last year I ordered a turbo from this guy for my 2000 9-3 lpt which went kaput before 80K. He convinced me to upgrade from the Garret 17 to the Garrett 25 which was used on the old 9000's. He made some modifications to it and after talking with my mechanic (who is a degreed engineer) my mechanic told me he could make the swap. My mechanic said it wasn't exactly plug and play but being super competent, my mechanic was able to do it. My mechanic confirmed that the Garret 25 was a far better turbo and the change, though not easy, was the smart thing to do. That swap was a huge success and the car has never run better.

So now I had the OEM Dealer replaced G-17 turbo on my 1999 lpt 9-5 go out after 38,000 miles. The car never idled right after the turbo installation. So I thought I would do the same thing on the 9-5 I had done on the 9-3. I made the order last Monday and my account was billed on Tuesday. No turbo yet. No info on its wherabouts or whether it has even been shipped. Today is Tuesday the following week. I called him all day long yesterday and all day today. Just get voice mail.

This guy advertises on EBay and has great ratings. He was very prompt and efficient the first time. My mechanic liked his work and my mechanic is quite particular.

XSboost has a website but the only contact info is a phone number.

Does anyone else know how to get hold of this guy?

Has anyone had a bad experience with this guy? He sells lots of Saab turbos so maybe someone here knows about him.

He sure seems knowledgeable about the Saab Garret and Mitsubishi turbos. Based on what he has told me, I am a firm believer that the Garret 17 turbo should never have been put on the low pressure cars. They just don't hold up and have a life expectancy of about 2/3 of the Garret 25's.
