2001 Aero 155M miles - CEL is on / code P0442. Replaced gas cap and Evap Purge valve, DIY, but still getting code. Indie replaced my new valve with his test evap purge and confirmed that was not the problem,. He used tech2 to signal evap purge valve & was able to send and receive signal from valve, so he knows wire continuity is OK. But his signal from Tech2 should operare valve, and it does NOT. Says he's never seen this before and if the signal doesn’t operate the valve, then its most likely not a vacuum problem but a electrical problem. Since he gets a signal from evap purge on tech 2, its not the wiring to/from the evap purge valve so he feels its either the Trionic or electrical some where else. Since somewhere else is a disaster, he’s hoping it’s the Trionic. The Trionic probably hasn’t been updated as it hasn’t seen the dealer since 30M miles. Indie says Trionic software update is not the problem . I havent seen any posting her for Trionic fix for P0442? Any ideas?
