Sounds like what I did 8 months ago to get out of my lease on my 9-5. Wish now I had waited. You might call Chase and see if it will do anything to help you out of the lease because they are going to lose 3 or 4 grand getting out of it when the lease is up. I found out the other day that there is no gap insurance on a lot of these Chase leases so Chase will have to sell the car at auction. Maybe they will let you sell it now to someone. I'm going to see if they will do it for me. I only have two months remaining on mine though.

Look at it this way, that 6 grand over 36 months is $160+ per month. Your lease over 36 months is probably only 15 grand or so. Something must be going on though because I bet the lease on the Arc is $400 a month so maybe the buyout is only costing you a $100 per month. If it costs you a $100 per month to get out of the lease then it is only costing them $3600 to get out of the lease. I see now that the special on the linear is $399 per month so I bet the Arc would be $425 or so. That would mean it's only costing you $75 a month to get out of the lease which is $2700 so maybe its not so bad after all. Funny how when you think things through your mind changes.
