As for the sequence on the torque i knew that one but just not the torque lbs. and or degree's (thank you though, re assured my info)
As for the guides they all look pretty good for a motor with 183k on it (the motor was in great condition it seems just a bad mishap) plus i don't have the cash to replace it all. I used the permatex stuff a couple years back when i pulled the oilpan to reseal it the previous time I owned this car and after pulling it this time it didn't seem to be sealed well even after all the work keeping it dry/ clean etc during install
last time.
As for pulling the timing cover: No I didn't pull the motor, a buddy and I loosened most of the bolts with two T40 bits using wrenches (I also trimmed the back of one down) and we also used 7mm and 1/4" wrenches on the T40 and even a small pipe wrench on the extension side of the T40 sockets using a flat head screw driver to keep the T40 in the bolt head pushing it in using the frame rail as a fulcrum point. Then to remove the cover we went out the bottom of the wheel well after removing both side engine/trans mounts and the front one and tugged the motor towards the drivers side... I will say getting it back in may be more difficult but getting it out wasn't Horrible just annoying.
