Kyle, if you prefer, leaving the sensors on the downpipe is ok, you just need to unplug the connectors. Not a bad idea to remove the sensors though, if only to ensure they are removable should they ever need replacement. 22mm is the size. Top one can be removed with a special deep socket , slotted for wire. Bottom one needs open end or big adjustable. One comment about exhaust nuts and bolts. Unless they are fairly new, or you live in a non rust area, you will probably end up cutting them off, and drilling the studs out of the holes. Stainless steel bits after that for sure. good luck- Tom S.
