Hi,

I have been looking for a recent 9-5 aero wagon stick for the last few months. My story concluded with a '08 aero wagon auto. Previous car was '04 aero wagon manual.

First impression after 3 weeks of ownership :
. I miss the manual tranny...
. Comfort : Similar between two cars. I am wandering if my souvenirs are too positive, but I would guess that the seat comfort was better in the '04 (more support at the leg level).
. Sound system : Similar. I like the AUX input and the MP3 capability of the CD reader. I am confused with all these new buttons. I will get used to it...
. Winter wheels : No worry about the Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM): No message in the dash during the winter. Is there a self disabling function?
. Fuel consumption : Seems higher with the '08 (around 8.5 l/100km on HW). Maybe because of actual lower temperature in Canada.
. Chromed plastic around headlight : I wander how it will survive through the abrasion of sand in winter...
. 666 relay modification : This modification is quite more difficult on '08
. Rear heating seats : My daughter loves it.
. Worse aspect : My wife loves the car. So she is the one who use it to go to work.

In resume : we like the car and I am happy with this recent purchase.
