my radio went absolutely dead after messing with the SID.
A couple of weeks went by checking connectors, replacing fuse, checking voltages at each connector according to WIS, and eventually replacing the head unit and even the amp (in the right side kick panel). No diff.
I replaced the original head unit with a last-time jiggle of the wiring harnesses-it has worked flawlessly since.
I'm not exactly sure what the problem was, but once past the obvious issues I take the WIS advice to wiggle/jiggle every single wire in the connector loom.
p.s. wanna a good deal on a used head unit?
