Why would an Arc do any better than an Aero? They have basically the same engine, only significant difference is the amount of boost. At cruise they should be the same if the engine management is working as it should. Wagon may weigh slightly more but highway driving is mostly about aerodynamics.
Regardless, 32mpg is excellent for such a comfortable car, which is why I have one too : )
