I just bought a 2008 9-5 Aero from previous 2003 9-5 Aero. I believe the Aero level seats (with bottom bolsters) were standard on all (non-Aero) '08 models...I do agree that these seats are a deal maker. Ride in the '08 seems a little softer than the '03, but still sporty stiff...the '08 still has Pirelli 06 tires, which I like. I had installed Continental Extreme-Contact DWS tires on the '03 last year...they offered a nice, softer ride than previous tires.
I don't love the interior on the'08...think they plasticized too much compared to the '03...mostly on door panels. But I still love the car.
Was a die-hard manual driver till the '08 auto shift...I love it!
Used Saabs are also a great deal...I bought my '08 for $19,500...was comparing to a 2008 Honda Accord (at same price)...think that Saab resale is still low, primarily due to brand confidence...less dealers and the almost closing scare last year. All comes down to a GREAT deal on a GREAT car!
