The NAV is good, with the exceptions I noted above. It finds POIs by name much faster than my Nuvi. There's also a nifty color info display ("SID") in the center of the speedo for vehicle info, warning messages, etc. No worries about losing pixels on this one.

I also like the HDD/CD integration. You can copy a CD to the HD while listening to another sound source, and it also has voice commands.

After 300 miles, I'm liking it more and more. Performance and handling are exciting to say the least. Compared to my '04 Aero, power comes on much earlier, especially off the line, although there's a bit of indecision when mashing the pedal. High speed corners are a blast, and I have the 18" instead of 19" wheels. Brakes are much better. I found that I can push it harder than my '04 without my wife complaining that I'm going too fast.

MPG is about 21 for highway+city+traffic jams. My older Aero was about the same. The numbers should improve with time. You can go 40 MPH in 6th.

The HUD turned out to be quite useful. I expected it to be just a tech gimick, but it's well designed and very nice getting speed and NAV instructions without moving your head.

Compared to my '04 Aero, this one is in a different class. Be sure to drive your Aero to the dealer when you get a test drive. When you get back in your car, you will notice a significant difference.
