If the old ones are shot. But you may still need spacers or new springs. I concur with Link and have seen this happen on past non-Saab cars we have owned. Although 3 9000s never needed shocks or struts. The high-pressure gas charge acts like a spring in parallel with the real spring. When the gas leaks out, this extra spring disappears and the affected wheel(s) sag a bit. Your site works fine on Firefox (Mac OSX), but not on Android Incredible. Thanks for all the inputs. I will take measurements as you recommend.
