wrong board, but... 9-3 SS auto-dimming mirror question

The glass fell off the passenger mirror of wife's 9-3, and I don't know if it includes the auto-dimming feature.
The 9-5 board is SOOO much more helpful than the 9-3 board (maybe younger audience for 9-3 board, not as computer-literate?), since I couldn't get a response there, maybe I can get an answer here?
The car has inside dimming, I want to assume that it also has outside dimming.
Also includes all the options associated with the Touring Package that year(parking sensors, Homelink).
Actually, after the mirror glass fell off, there's still a grey surface, with the "OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER" or "whatever". Since that was printed on a separate surface under the mirror glass, can I assume that a non-dimming mirror would have that printing on the mirror itself?
thanks
Ed
