Being tall I don't get along with the wide roofrack bars. Have the scars on my head to prove it from customer cars. The factory bars have enough room for a couple mountain bikes. I can see if you needed to haul a pair of canoes or something. Also nice that the factory seem a bit more secure with the doors locked. But if they are wanting to steal it....
