Open the trunk. on the left side you will see a black rubber conduit thing going into a plastic "L" shaped that snaps into the trunk. Pull the rubber back off the black plastic L and see the broken wires.
To fix, take the trunk liner off. undo the harnessed wires from one of the clips to give you some slack in the wire.
Then solder the broken wires. first slide some heat shrink tubing over it for insulation. put some heat on the tubing to shrink it.
Radio shack has the tubing..... if you can't solder....find a friend who can do it.
