I've been looking for a late model 9-5 sportcombi to replace my bmw wagon. With the future of saab in jeopardy, what would ownership of a few-year-old saab look like re: parts and service? would an indie be able to complete any type of work that a dealer service center could have?
i suppose the other big unknown would be the cars used value in a few years when i'm ready to re-sell. so much uncertainty! i had a 2001 aero wagon that i really miss, and only had to go to the dealer for programming the locks. otherwise my indie worked on everything. how would one address programming issues in the future if saab closes?
