Thanks for the great report. The idea behind the soft mounts is to make the Saab as smooth as possible even with the 4 cylinder engine. Softness means they do fail with mileage.
And you are so right....they are easy to replace. The center one is not, but they last a long time.
++1 on the genuine saab trans mount....what a difference!!
