Confusing, but as I recall they are Neo3x, where the base of the unit is about 6.5mm in diameter.
Even though I eventually went with the LED lamps, I did discover that virtually all auto mfrs. use the NeoWedge bulbs - the Saabs are green in color, but actually are clear bulbs with little green "hats" pressed on to the bulbs. The Nissan bulbs I eventually found were, I think, clear, but cost only a dollar or so apiece. A bit of green Sharpie and presto - green.
I dunno about others' experience, but my LED's are still going strong, about 1-1/2 years after installation.
