The T7 system is pretty sensitive and will usually set a code and the CEL if something is out of range enough to cause a stall, but medium sized vacuum leaks or boost leaks can cause stalling. That sort of thing usually causes stalling on deceleration.
Since it restarts just fine the alternator must still be charging, but I suppose the positive cable might have been disturbed in a way that might cause a sudden momentary drop in voltage. I've seen loose connections that behave normally most of the time then suddenly cause problems and then go back to normal just as suddenly.
