I usually do my own repairs on my 2001 9-5, but after seeing a good size oil puddle under the car and low power steering fluid I tried to find where it was coming from and also discovered a coolant leak so I brought it to a Saab "specialist" garage. They haven't found any oil leaks but they say I need a new heater bypass valve for $334. Doing a search it looks to be half hour+ diy labor and $50 for the part. What is the book time for this? Is $334 really the going rate or should I try to stop them before they fix it? They also quoted me $265 to replace the serpentine belt and grooved idler pulley. I don't mind paying for quality work but do these prices sound right?
