I just bought my third Saab ('02 Aero SW, '95 9000CS, 110K miles, '89 9000S, 80K miles). My husband is looking to buy his third Acura in a year or so ('96 3.2TL, 120K miles and counting, '88 Legend, 160K miles). They are two different animals. The TL is an amazing package for the money. Acura does a wonderful job in that respect. We've had a few '02 loaners. They are actually cheaper and come with more stuff than six years ago.

We have a lot of debates regarding Japanese vs. European. His Acuras have been far more reliable than my Saabs. But I'm sure everyone on this board will agree that the Saab is a lot more fun to drive. The Acura is smooth and boring, the Saab is more responsive, has a more interesting suspension, and has much more comfortable seats, especially if you are tall. I don't like his Acura at all, but he will admit that he does like to ride in my Saab... We also think the Saab is safer. Just my observations and opinions... test drive an Aero and see if you still like the TL better!
