Just replaced my CPS last night, read all the advice, thanks to all contributors, but shortened the process as follows. Did not remove any covers or battery. Just drop the down tube, the third bolt is blind reaching under from front with wench, but other than that, straight forward. Once dropped clear access to CPS. Putting back new CPS I used foil tape to hold screw to torx socket, works great. Air tool helps with this, most work done from the top, takes about 2.5 hours. I also repaired one other sensor cable with this change out.
