People don't want to pay for that.
How cheap, fast and good (in that order) is the mantra.
I think it ended with the T Ford or something like that when it was a matter of how well a car could be built, not how fast and cheap.
Think of the 9000 subframe where half the frame folded down when getting the transmission out. It was a very smart design but Oh so expensive to make so that was dropped.
Think about the NG900 and OG9-3 models were the subframe is bolted rigid to the car body and not too many complaints about it even though the rest of the front suspension on those cars leaves a lot to ask for.
But getting the old bushings out is really easy. The rear ones you just pry out with a sharp prybar grabbing the edge of steel sleeve.
The center one comes out with an air hammer and curved chisel that split the sleeve.
Then I just converted an old Volvo 240 trailing arm bushing tool to fit in the body nut that then presses the new bushing in.
