95k. Read the archives on this. My whole car is about 1-1/4 inch lower than spec. It kind of wallows around corners and rides rough. No strange tire wear or vibration, just a creak when I accelerate, sounds like rear suspension. From what I have read, the springs sack out and the rubber bushings wear out. Are their better aftermarket bushings available? Is is better to use the old springs with spacers like JJJ? The shocks seem fine and do not bounce or leak. But it may be a good time to replace since they will be off anyway, best replacements?
I put the yellow Konis with adjustable damping on my 94 900 SE and hated them, they had adjustable damping that I never could get right. I have had good luck with Sachs on prior Saabs, even the OEM ones. I have used The high end Monroe shocks on my ford trucks and they were much better than stock and lasted for years. I have read bad things about them in Saab applications though. Maybe because the Ford OEM shocks were just so bad,
mine were made in Brazil and had no damping whatsoever at 45 k.
I am going to have my indie look at the alignment next week, he quite a few customers with 9-5s and that have not had this problem, or never complained about it.
