I am chasing a intermitten ambient temp issue and have a dumb question.
How do I open the 4 wire connector with the red tab where it connects from the bumper to the car body ? Usually they open very easily by just pulling up but this one is on their TIGHT and I am reluctant to pry hard with a small standard blade screw driver, fear of beaking the plastic. I gave it a bit of force but it is not budging and I did not want to break it. Also there was quite bit of silicone type material on the end where the wires meet the connector. Is this normal ? I just want to remove the harness from the rest of the circuit so I can check resistance in a closed loop from the sensor to the connection.
